Provide a professional overview of understanding the theory, methodology and scientific background of sensory analysis.
We will focus on the five basic tastes – bitter, umami, sweet, sour and salty - and practice your taste skills.
Train and evaluate sensory with LE NEZ DU CAFÉ.
Understand wheel of flavour.
You will experience different coffee flavours and learn how to cup and evaluate coffee cupping sheet.
These workshops are ideal for beginners who want to learn about the world of coffee.
On completion of the workshop participants will have a better understanding of coffee flavours as we fine tune your palette and take you on a coffee journey from bean to cup.

Meet your local trainer Deandra Gauci, a leading coffee professional based in Malta with comprehensive expertise across all levels and fields within the coffee industry. Being that basic or skill based knowledge to a scientific level within the coffee field.
Certified by the Speciality Coffee Association and Coffee Quality Institute, Deandra holds licenses as an AST, QArabicaGrader, Qprocessing generalist, Post Harvest Lecturer, Post Harvest Assistant Instructor, Latte Art Grading specialist and Excellence in Coffee Science ZHAW University Zurich
